Joseph from JoNick Construction stopped by my house on an early summer afternoon and asked about our roof. I let him know that insurance already declined us for hail and wind damage. We have someone stop by asking about our roof maybe once a week in the warmer seasons… for some reason I was open to listening to Joseph more so and also knew we really needed a new roof! He mentioned that I could file a new claim since there’s been a more recent storm and asked if he could go up and look, I said, for sure! He offered to come back and meet the adjuster after I called insurance while he was still over and filed a new claim. From there the process was smooth. Jon came to discuss further planning and we set a date. He worked with my Insurance adjuster directly to make edits to the claim. Their team was efficient and professional and I’d recommend them to any neighbor, friend or loved one! Thanks guys!

Joseph and Jon were both professional and easy to deal with. The crew that did our roof were also pleasant and professional and did great work. Got the job done in one day and also did a good job of cleaning up. The owners stopped by at the end of the project to make sure all was good, cleaned up and that we were satisfied. I can recommend them highly!

My first attempt at getting a roofing bid ended with the roofing contractor literally walking away. Even though he was present during the insurance inspection, the insurance payout ended up being less than the deductible. A year later Jon was in the neighborhood and suggested that I request an insurance reinspection with Jon present. Even though I have a cash value policy, the insurance company was willing to pay out a few thousand dollars this time. I gave JoNick the roofing job. The roofing job was completed in one day. Even though Jon is not one of the guys up on the roof tearing off shingles or shooting nails, he is present several times during the day. to observe progress. At the end of the day when the roofers were gone, Jon made one final clean-up pass. I got a new roof utilizing quality shingles, properly installed in one day, at a reasonable price.

Jon is extremely conscientious about quality of workmanship and any specific needs of the client. He's in constant communication with the client throughout the process and happy to explain everything that is being done and why.

It's pretty cool when a contractor comes through with everything they've promised. They were on time, on budget, communicated well and were even fun to work with 🙂 They rebuilt a complicated built-in gutter on the wrap around porch on our historic home and re-roofed the whole house and garage. This required coordination with welders, a stucco contractor and a siding contractor. Thanks Jon!

This is the first time we have used JoNick Construction. It is also the first time I can remember not having any complaints about a contractor after a job! Jon was very attentive to what we wanted in a deck and helped us get it. In fact he firmly, but professionally, guided us away from using brown treated wood to cedar and we are very happy with the results. The crew was really nice and helpful. They took care of some debris I had while they demoed the old deck and even put packages we received in the garbage some we were away most of the time they were building the deck. The work area looks good and was cleaned up well. We would highly recommend JoNick for your deck project!

We contracted JoNick Construction to renovate and update our tired old deck. We decided to go with composite. Jon came over and gave us a fair bid. Our deck has some unusual shapes and angles, but Jon promised to make it look great. Well, every single promise was kept! Jon’s communication was great. The crew that they use is fantastic. Every guy was super nice and they were very accommodating, especially since we have an old dog that insists on using the deck to go in the yard for her business. The deck we have now is beautiful! We are in love with our deck and the quality is outstanding! There was a small imperfection and I reached out to ask how WE could fix it. Next day, someone was here to fix it. They were also very responsive even after the deck was finished when I had questions about care (because I have no idea what I'm doing.) Overall, great people, hard workers (even in 98degree heat) and honest from start to finish.

From start to finish, we were very pleased with how our deck project turned out. We had very quick response to our request for an estimate. Jon spent a lot of time with us going over our options. He provided drawings, material samples and pictures of completed projects that were similar to our project. Once the materials were available we were put on their schedule and they communicated every step of the way. Nick was great to work with and frequently asked if we had any questions about their progress. The crew worked very hard, were friendly and courteous. They joked around with each other almost like they were a family. The quality of the materials and their workmanship was excellent. Our finished project was beautiful and exceeded out expectations. We had a great experience working with Jon and Nick (the owners) at Jonick Construction. We had several people come out to give us quotes on our deck but we really appreciated the time Jon spent going through our deck design and giving us options that fit within our budget. We were able to use some of the existing stricture which cut down on the cost. Nick and his team that built the deck were very courteous, professional, showed up on time, and built a very high quality deck. If we had any questions we were easily able to get a hold of Jon, which is a huge benefit of working with a small company. We highly recommend Jonick Construction for deck projects and will certainly use them again in the future for other construction projects.

I had a great experience with Jonick. The cost for my composite deck was within my budget. John, Nick, and their crew were very easy to talk to. They came when they said they would and worked hard. My deck was done earlier in the summer than I expected and it took less time than I thought it would be. My family and I are really enjoying it.

We had an excellent expirence with Jonick. I met with several contractors and Jon at Jonick was very professional, gave it to me straight and ensured that our new deck would be done the right way the first time. Nick, the head of the crew, made sure everything was to my liking and gave me guidance when I didn't know what I wanted. When construction started the crew was very professional and worked hard. They were respectful of our neighbors and cleaned up every day. Between demo, new framing and permits our new deck was done in about a week and I love it.
